- go to a movie with a friend, will keep your mind off of it, keep you away
from food, and you can order a diet soda
- Chew sugar-free gum
- take a nap
- read a book
- STUDY
- clean your room, apartment, house
- do the dishes
- take a shower/bath
- put on a face mask to clean your pores
- whiten your teeth
- go for a run or work out hard
- do crunches- it burns calories and kills hunger
- focus on enjoying the hunger, it means you're succeeding
- concentrate on how you feel after a binge
- weigh yourself
- look at yourself naked (very effective if mixed with crunches)
- drink something hot like green tea or bullion cubes, it confuses your tummy
and makes you think you're full
- go for a walk
- do not take money with you wherever you go so that you can't slip up and buy
food
- notice how many girls are thinner than you are
- never eat anything bigger than your fist

fruits are amazing. 50 blueberries are 39 calories - that's so many for
so little cals. an average strawberry has 2-4 calories, a grape has 2 calories,
a clementine has 35, a raspberry only has 1 calorie..the list goes on and
on.
-stretching really helps - it gets rid of hunger pains and makes you feel
more awake. also it does burn fat & cals and makes your body flexible.
-look at thinspo all the time. this is an obvious one but you're much
less likely to eat if you've just looked at it.
- get naked and look at yourself in the mirror. this can be shocking if
you're not thin, and you will NOT want to eat.
- repeat over and over in your head that you don't like food, that you
hate it. your brain will start to believe it if you do it for long enough.
. -actually look at pro-ana blogs on xanga. some of them have good tips
that you're missing out on.
. -make a list of safe foods (zero or negative cal)
- make a list of unsafe foods (high cal)
- instead of writing "dear diary", write "dear ana." pretend you're
talking to her yourself. say you LOVE her. say thank you for all that she's done
for you. please don't do this if you really are trying to recover. but i'm not,
and i do this all the time. it's a bad habit, i know, but forcing myself to
believe that i'm glad she's there is helpful, for me atleast.

you should atleast write it down. it's crazy how much more you THINK about it if
you have to type it out, or write it out.

- think about how much closer summer is getting, how little time you have
until you have to wear a swimsuit. now, are you going to wear a one-piece with a
fucking skirt on it, or a bikini that shows as much as possible? that's what i
thought.
.- when it comes down to it, diet soda, tea, coffee, or whatever, all
those things that are zero cal? i wouldn't reccomend it. some of them make you
gain weight in the long run. just drink water - there's NO side effects. its
just pure water.
-. at lunch, look at other people that are eating and say to yourself,
"i'm SO much stronger than them."
- if people know you're ana, and don't want you to exercise, go to the
bathroom & do chair squats - just stand and sit on the toilet (without
completely sitting on it). people will think you're just taking a shit.(;
-do 10 mins of cardio, then 10 mins of stretching.
- try the opaque cup trick.
